Warranty

All mobile phones and accessories sold by Next Mobile are covered by genuine Australian Manufacturers Warranty.

The Warranty for Nokia mobile phones purchased from 1 April 2011 is valid for a period of 24 months from the date of Tax Invoice, and all other branded mobile phones have a 12 month Manufacturers Warranty from the date of Tax Invoice (unless specified otherwise).

Accessories have a 6 month Manufacturers Warranty which is valid from date of the Tax Invoice, except genuine Nokia mobile phone cradles/holders which have a 12 month Warranty and Oricom batteries that have a 3 month Warranty.

All media (memory cards) that are included in packaging with mobile phones have a 90 day Warranty and all Accessories included in packaging have a 6 month Warranty.

If you receive a DOA (Dead on Arrival) or faulty mobile phone on delivery you must return the handset in the box with all original accessories, at your cost, to us and include a copy of your Tax Invoice stating the nature of the fault. Upon receipt of the goods, Next Mobile will commence the process of having a replacement handset issued under the Manufacturers’ ELF (Early Life Failure) policy.

Any Physical Damage or Fluid ingression to handsets is not covered under warranty or by DOA/ELF.

If a handset develops a fault within the Manufacturers ELF period the same rules as above will apply.

Next Mobile reserves the right to await Early Life Failure approval from the manufacturer prior to replacing an item if it is suspected the fault may be due to physical or liquid damage.

Any returned items found to be faulty due to any physical or liquid damage will not be replaced or repaired under warranty and will incur a $35.00 Administration Fee from Next Mobile.

If the handset becomes faulty outside the ELF period, but within the said Warranty period, you will need to return the handset to the Manufacturer’s nearest authorised repair centre. You should contact the Manufacturers’ Care line for further information and the location of your nearest authorised repair centre.

Should you wish Next Mobile to send the handset away on your behalf to the relevant Care Centre an Administration Fee of $35.00 will be chargeable to cover postage and other associated costs.

Please note that the original box, handset manual and anything else included in the phone package will be required for ELF/DOA returns - please do not throw anything away.
